The Mavericks were a Grammy Award-winning alternative country music band founded in 1989 in Miami, Florida, United States. To date, they have recorded eight studio albums, in addition to charting fourteen singles on the U.S. Billboard country charts.

Lead singer Raul Malo currently records as a solo artist, while former drummer Jaime Hanna is currently one-half of the duo Hanna-McEuen.
